Program
ExPro stands for the IAAS exchange program. Throughout 50 years, IAAS exchange program has provided the opportunity for students to experience and learn about agriculture and related subjects on an international level, while broadening their own views and helping to create open and internationally-minded people. Students have the possibility to experience how agricultural institutes work in other countries, exchange ideas, experiences and information.
During IAAS ExCo, assemblies and debates are celebrated with the help of the members and coordinators from every national committee, who work along to improve the program and find solutions to the possible problems that may have arised since the last period of exchange.
In addition, the assistants visit multiple institutiones related to agriculture and related sciences, museums, farms and universities, also discovering the city and the culture of the hosting country, and learning more about their agricultural systems.
Uno de los pilares de la asociación IAAS es el Programa Internacional de Prácticas, a través del cual estudiantes de distintas universidades de todo el mundo pueden acceder a unas prácticas no remuneradas a cambio de alojamiento y manutención en alguna explotación agraria o ganadera de cualquier lugar del planeta. Para poder establecer las directrices de ese programa y desarrollar nuevas ideas, se organiza cada año un encuentro en un determinado país.
Durante esa semana se establecen jornadas de charlas y debates entre los distintos directores, además de establecer dinámicas sobre las problemáticas de este programa y posibles soluciones. Aparte de esto, visitaremos instituciones relacionadas con la agricultura y la biotecnología, además de realizar visitas turísticas por la ciudad, museos y lugares emblemáticos, para dar a conocer más si cabe nuestra hermosa ciudad.
